October is here!!

These are the beginnings of my Fall decorating! Included in these pics are the Small Galveston Footed Hurricane, the Dress Me Up Glass Platter, and the Bradford Lattice Lantern.
We have some really cool things going on in October at Willow House! My website...shameless plug....http://paigepreston.willowhouse.com... has a new "Shop Online" feature where customers can order at any time from the website and are able to take advantage of the items without attending a live party. The best part about it is that the item ships right away! You do not have to wait until the party closes to get your new products! And THE BEST thing is that there is a new OUTLET!!! You can purchase regular priced items and outlet items on the same order. There are some great items in October that are 25% off so please check it out! Happy Fall Y'all!

Entry Table

So I have lived in my house for almost a year and never hung anything on my wall above my entry table for two reasons:
1. Laziness
2. Fear
Laziness of course is understandable. I'm a girl, and I don't like to use tools. I want someone to do it for me an unfortunately that someone does not exist or live in this house at this time. The fear was of drilling a hole in the wall, not having a stud, afraid of it not being level, etc. But last night somehow at 10:30 I got some courage and after a tip from a friend (Thanks Betsy) was able to hang a 30 pound mirror without a stud. So here is my entry table project....

Nice but blah...cute Hurricane and candleabra but nothing on the wall = BORING. Also those are some REALLY sorry candles.

This is the Medallion Mirror (you know where you can get it right?) but I'm sure any of you have a nice mirror that you can hang above a table.

Gorilla Hooks!!! This is what Betsy told me about, you don't have to have a stud in the wall they just insert and you twist them around and there you go! A nice hook! These hold up to 50 pounds but there are also Monkey Hooks that hold 25 I think. Got them at Lowe's. Most of you know how I feel about Lowe's so I won't express that here.

Tada!! In like 5 minutes the mirror is up!

These are the Cordova Scones...super cute and had them like for 2 years and never had anywhere to put them. Until now!

They may not be perfectly level but I don't really care, I'm not an engineer or anything :)

I added an old candle I had, tied some cute brown raffia on it and then I needed something else....The Terrace appetizer plates of course!

This is the Filigree Candleabra and I had some pears that were just in a bag and they fit in the spots so there you go!

Finished!! I totally love it and can't believe it took me this long to actually try it. I think I need a runner or something on the table but for now this is my entry way!

$99 Starter Kit!!!

Seriously $99 gets you sooooo much more than it ever has before!! Sign on today and get all you need to jumpstart your business. I would love to share this great opportunity with anyone who is interested! Of course the biggest perk is the income and free product, but I have also recently earned my first free trip and that was amazing!! Not to mention the relationships I have made with other women on my team and the hostesses and customers that I have met through the business. I know that's cheesy but soooo true! So please comment on this post or send me an email at willowhousechic@gmail.com if you're interested!!

Convention 2010- Product Showcase

So product showcase is where they display all the products in the Fall Willow House catalog, new and old. The stylists make unbelievable over the top displays that are totally mind blowing. Especially in person. Of course the average person is not going to be able to copy the whole thing in their home, but it gives so many ideas that you can easily take one idea that you hadn't ever thought of for a product and implement it in your own home. So take your time to really savour the design in each picture...you may need awhile! If you have any questions post a comment or send me an email at willowhousechic@gmail.com Enjoy!!
